ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMARY

The Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN is located 27 miles / 44 km from downtown Indianapolis. There are no public transoprt links to the venue.

Parking:

Because of the venue's location, driving is the only option to get to the venue. Approximately 10-15% of the audience carpools with 4+ people per car to their shows on average. The venue marked a noticeable increase in participation for our show.

Energy:

The venue electricity is supplied by Duke Power. We are working with the venue to purchase renewable energy for the show.

Recycling:

The venue has a complete recycling program backstage, throughout the audience area and scattered in the parking lots.

Catering:

Caterers provided washable plates, cutlery, and biodegradable cups for all meals. As with almost all of our shows, water coolers were provided for use with our refillable water bottles. The venue has an in-house composting program for catering scraps.

Concessions:

The concessions company uses recycable cups which are recycled by the venue.

Other green initiatives/issues:

The venue has installed low flow faucets, low flow shower heads, green hand soap, recycled papter toilet paper and hand towels.

Many thanks to Andrew Newport and Mark Elfman for their help throughout the day.
