ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMARY

The amphitheatre is located 21 miles / 35 km from downtown St Louis. The venue is located in a business park and audience transportation is 100% car, minus those walking from neighboring hotels.

Carpooling:

We reserved approximately 870 priority carpooling spots but ended up expanding the lot to accommodate 1100-1200 vehicles. The layout of the roads leading into the parking lot made car sorting more difficult than at previous gigs and required additional staffing. The venue estimates a 8-9% decrease in total cars parked versus a similarly sold out show.

Renewable Energy:

Ameren UE offers a Pure Energy renewable energy program which the venue purchased to cover our show and part of their operational energy use for the month.

Recycling:

The venue offers bottle, can, and cardboard recycling throughout the venue and additional paper recycling backstage.

Catering:

Caterers provided washable plates, cutlery, napkins, and cups for all meals. Compostable kitchen scraps were collected throughout the day for use in a local garden.

Concessions:

This venue is currently using recyclable concessions cups.

Other green initiatives:

The venue has switched over to all high efficiency light bulbs and taps with aerators. Office paper, toilet paper, and hand towels are made of recycled stock.

A special thanks to Eric Blockie his thorough logistical support.
